Malkieli, Zvi (“Tzvika”)


Son of Mordechai and Chasida. He was born on 26 June 1946 in Ra’anana. After graduating with honors from the elementary school in Hod Hasharon, he completed his high school studies in Kfar Saba at the Berl Katznelson School. Devote leisure time to collecting stamps only; He was also interested in sports. In his childhood he won first place in a table tennis competition at Hapoel (Ramatayim branch). After that he was a sports instructor on behalf of Maccabi. In his youth, he won first place in the chess competition between the southern Sharon boys in the Kfar Saba chess club. In August 1964 he reached the age of army service, but because he was an outstanding student he was accepted to the academic reserve and studied at the Hebrew University of Haifa. He completed his third year of studies in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and completed his third year of studies at the Technion, where he completed his studies at the Technion, and was about to leave for full military service. He was about to be married in July 1967, but in the meantime the Six-Day War broke out, and on the second day of the battles, on May 26, 1967, he fell in battle Who was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul after his death. He was promoted to the rank of lieutenant, and a memorial plaque was placed in the courtyard of the Berel Katznelson School, where a marble plaque was placed on his way to Qalqiliya, and a memorial room was opened in his memory.
