Ben Zippora and Rafael. He was born in Nahariya on the 27th of Av 5736 (August 21, 1976). In 1994 he completed his high school studies at the Ort Darski School in Acre, where he lived, and had a high school diploma. He completed his military service in the Combat Engineering Corps and served as a liaison officer for the battalion, and was discharged as a First Sergeant on August 4, 1998. On August 4, 1998, upon his discharge from compulsory service, he enlisted in the Israel Police. Thanks to his seriousness and responsibility, and the sacrifice he was prepared to do when necessary, he was appointed commander of a team and was recommended for an officer’s course. During his eight years in the police, Ya’oz reached the rank of First Sergeant in quite a short time. He went on to the Industrial and Management Technician track and also did some courses to enrich his general education. Yazuz was about to leave for the officer’s course, he was already in all the committees before the course, and the fitness test. After the officer’s course, he planned to study for a bachelor’s degree. His friends say that Yoaz always wanted to do the best and be among the leaders. This was his way both in the police and in his hobbies, surfing and motorcycle riding. An advanced sergeant for Ya’oz fell during his service on 16 April 2005. He was buried at the military cemetery in Nahariya, and was survived by his parents, two sisters and a brother. Every man you knew left something of you, whether it was a word or a sentence, a dream or an interesting story that happened to you, even a mere smile of sympathy or understanding. Everyone who knew you had something to go with, something inexplicable. We will always remember you as you were. Our hearts will remain forever young. “
