Malka (Naor), Jacob

Son of Tzal and success. He was born on February 15, 1953 in Netanya and attended the Ussishkin elementary school there. After completing his studies, he spent a year in the kibbutz and later studied carpentry and mechanics. Jacob had gold hands and his love for beauty and perfection invested in sculpting and engraving in wood (especially in olive wood), which to this day glorifies his home. He loved to travel and wander, and he traveled the whole country from Dan to Eilat and was very active in sports, especially swimming. Yaakov enlisted in the IDF in the middle of February 1971, and after basic training he was assigned to the Ordnance Corps, where he loved the army and not only fulfilled his role in faith but kept his clothes polished and ironed. He was a loving son, a good soldier and a devoted friend, and on the 12th of Tammuz, 5773 (12.7.1973), he died during his service and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Netanya.
