Malka, Max
Max,ben Haim and Annette was born onthe 17th of Heshvon, October 21, 1956, in Morocco. He immigrated to Israel with his family a few months after his birth. Max was able to help his parents and his family with financial support, and tried to help in any way possible, both up to the time of his induction into the IDF and during his army service. This desire to provide assistance to all in need became a central component of Max’s personality and was also revealed in the military framework. Max was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in mid-November 1973 and was appointed to the Armament Corps, where he began his military career as a trainee, and after half a year of service he moved to the Armored Corps School, where he was appointed as a mechanical engineer. On the 13th of Nissan, April 4, 1976, Max was injured in an accident and fell during his service. He was laid to rest in the Beit Shemesh cemetery and left behind his parents, brothers and sisters.
