Malco, Workesh


Bat Ayahu and Willow. Was born on January 1, 1984, in Chohei, Ethiopia. A fourth daughter to her parents, a nurse to Nana, Bath, Patapata, Ainu, Takla, Samin and Tamasgan. In 1997, when she was thirteen years old, Vorkensh immigrated with her family to Israel. She attended schools in Jerusalem and Petah Tikva. Borne was a girl and a smart and pretty girl who loved to study and planned to develop and study at the university after her military service. She loved painting and listening to music. Above all, she was a loving and caring daughter and sister, devoted to her parents and brothers. After her father died, she took responsibility for caring for her brothers and sisters and supported them and her mother. As a result, she was forced to stop her studies for a certain period until she received help from her mother. Vorkens joined the IDF in early November 2003 and was stationed in the Navy as a platoon commander in the “Shayetet 13.” She later moved to serve in the Eilat base and later moved to serve in Betzet in the north in order to approach her family who lived in Kiryat Haim. During her service she participated in the Nativ course for new immigrants and hoped to attend additional courses. On August 31, 2005, Vorkens was killed while serving. She was twenty-one years old. Sergeant Worken Malko was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. Survived by her mother and seven brothers and sisters.
