Malachi, Nuriel


Son of Yefet and Mazal. He was born on Friday, February 14, 1959. In Rosh Ha’ayin, Nuriel was an only son born after a long expectation and was therefore greatly loved and indulged, and the house was saturated with religious devotion and Yemeni folklore, and the son continued to follow his father’s footsteps Where he completed his studies at the Ohel Shalom religious elementary school, where he studied at the Rogozin vocational high school, where he specialized in the field of structural frameworks and completed his studies with distinction. His parents, and his teachers, and his classmates and all those around him liked him and asked for his closeness.In his youth, Nuriel was a member of the Bnei Akiva movement at Rosh Ha’ayin. His main hobby was to listen to the original Yemenite poetry, and he enjoyed the singing of Yemenite Jewry at any given time, and he liked to accompany it in authentic Yemenite dances, and in August 1977, Nuriel was drafted into the IDF. After undergoing basic basic training, he was assigned to the Chief Rabbinate and sent to the Kashrut Supervision Course. At the end of the course he rose to the rank of Terash and was sent to serve as a caretaker in a military convalescent home in the north, and he did not complete his army service for a year, and Nuriel fell on duty on June 18, 1978. Was brought to eternal rest in the military section of the cemetery at Rosh Ha’ayin. Survived by his parents. Nuriel’s commander wrote to bereaved parents: “Your late son was one of the most beloved and outstanding soldiers in my unit. He was loved by his friends and accepted by people. Tried to help others at all times, and if that was enough to detract from his personal comfort. “The parents set up a synagogue in his memory called Heichal Nuriel, including the introduction of a Torah scroll in his name.
