Son of Haim and Esther. He was born on the 17th of Tishrei 5718 (October 7, 1957) in Tivon. He studied at the elementary school in Kiryat Amal for six years. Afterward, he entered the junior high school at the Haim Greenberg School in Tivon, where he completed his high school studies in a biological-biological track, and Doron was particularly well-known for his real studies, but his humanities were also close to his Lev and his grades were among the highest. On the one hand, he had a deep emotional connection to nature, loved to wander the hills and wadis, climbed trees and built dream homes for him and his friends, and he also experienced pigeon breeding, while he was captivated by man’s discoveries and inventions He spent many hours of his leisure time dismantling and repairing household appliances And most of all his airplanes were excited, and soon the ceiling of his room was filled with models of airplanes made of wood, paper, and plastic that swayed to every breeze, and in this private airfield, as his friends called his room, Doron embroidered his dream of being counted When the time came, with the family of Air Force pilots, Doron was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement and later joined a Nahal unit. But he abandoned this framework for the fulfillment of his soul’s desire: the pilot. Much of his time was devoted to sports. He took part in running, marching, swimming and even won medals for his achievements. In these occupations he acquired the friendship and trust of close friends, but he was merely introverted by nature and did not reveal his secrets – his Lev, his family or his friends. There was a heavy sense of responsibility, a sense of purpose and a duty to fulfill every mission with integrity and integrity. Doron was drafted into the IDF at the end of January 1976, was fit to join the Air Force and began his training at the Flight School, successfully completing the first stage of the pilot’s training and becoming a corporal.
