Maharovsky, Shalom (“Ariel”)

Son of Chaya and Isaac. He was born in 1930. As a child, he was circumcised by his parents and raised by his grandfather. He studied at the “Sinai” Talmud Torah and when he graduated he began to work in a box workshop. From his youth, he was imbued with a national spirit and found his way to the deepest underground of all – the Lehi underground, and he suffered greatly: he was beaten to “restore him by the Haganah” and his grandfather even expelled him from his home, but to no avail.
