Mahala, Chananel

Son of sang Lia and Aryeh. Hananel was born in Jerusalem on February 25, 1982. On June 13, 2001, Hananel was drafted into the IDF. He served in the Intelligence Corps, a combat unit. Hananel fell during his duties on 27.10.2002. He was twenty years old. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem. Survived by mother and brothers. On Hananel’s tombstone, his followers wrote the verse: “Let the innocent go and do justice and speak the truth in his Lev” (Psalm 15: 2) and add: “The law of your mouth will never be used from us.” (The information on this page is written according to the data available to the unit (The full story of life will be published later.)
