Mafoda, Morris


Son of McCalloff and Mary. He was born in 1945 in the city of Meknes, Morocco, where he completed his elementary studies at the Alliance school, and in 1958 the family immigrated to Israel, took care of their parents, supported them and supported them, and also settled their place of residence. Was loved by all who knew him and when he was drafted into the IDF in November 1962 he was disciplined for everything and therefore Ehud was in command of his commanders. He completed his regular service and then went on reserve service. The same framework was found in the Six-Day War and on the second day of its battles, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), in a battle that took place on the Abu Tor road in Jerusalem. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. In his booklet “One Gray Battalion” his name was immortalized
