Madmon, Yosef

Son of Miriam and Shalom, was born in 1898 in the city of Amran, Yemen. In 1945 he immigrated to Palestine. After the establishment of the state and the invasion of Arab armies, he was sent to work in fortifications. On the 7th of Iyar, May 16, 1948, he fell with his son while they were doing fortifications at Kibbutz Ramat Hakovesh and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Ra’anana
