Madmon, Barak

Ben Adina and Yosef. He was born on May 9, 1975 in Moshav Aviel, south of Binyamina. Fireplace, Amber and Storm. Barak was born in the spring and was like that – a child of spring, blossom, joy of life and a big smile. In most of the early childhood pictures, it is possible to see him along with his sisters, arranged according to size, in a single file or in a file, all with a similar expression – a shy smile, dimples and dark hair. Barak was a thin boy – but not weak, shy – but smiling, a happy child humming and singing songs at every opportunity. In the summer, when they returned from the pool, Barak would gather with his cousins for the daily soccer game on the lawn, a ceremony that was later joined by Saar, the younger brother. With age, soccer became a hobby of talent and Barak joined the Binyamina soccer team for a few years, which ended when he reached middle school, when the ball gave way to his friends and the guitar. Barak completed the Geva elementary school in Givat Ada, moved to the Ort Junior High School and after two years decided to continue to the agricultural high school in Pardes Hannah, where he joined the real trend. In the middle of the high school, the sight of the slender child changed from the appearance of a tall, broad-shouldered boy, and since then she has been back in the episode: “Sa’ar, come and see how I put my father on the floor …” But Barak’s outstanding quality was not the strength ). Barak was a soft and sensitive boy, and as such he became a collector of friends – friends with whom to learn together – to go to a summer camp, a trip to the desert, to the north or to Greece, to gather for an evening with a guitar, and all of them are nicknamed ‘my brother’. On Barak’s character, Haim says, “The most significant thing I have always attributed to Barak is his realness … My intention in ‘realness’ is the absolute sincerity and naturalness that existed in Barak … What you see is one to one inside. I envied Barak for his perfection and simplicity, it made him so special and loved. “When you’re so complete with yourself, you have no weak points.” In April 1994, Barak joined the IDF and began his career in the Naval Commandos, and in May 1996 he completed his career as a full-fledged combat soldier. Barak saw in his military service an ideological mission, as part of his Zionist education. Throughout this period, the proud family accompanied him with love and, no less important, with regular food shipments from his mother. As a fighter, he spent many months in Lebanon. His family remembers days and nights of anxiety and phone calls in the middle of the night, when Barak said one sentence: “When you hear the news in the morning, do not worry, I’m fine.” After the liberation, Barak worked and saved money to realize his dream – a trip to South America – a dream that was fully realized. Barak traveled for ten months in Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and of course he also bought new friends there. When he returned, at the meeting with the family at the airport, he quickly called out to his brother Saar in an authoritative voice: “Come and stand by me, you have to check if you are taller …” After a short acclimatization, Barak began formulating a study plan. He moved to the North and began studying at the Technion in Haifa. From there he continued to study electrical and electronic engineering at the College in Holon. He combined his studies as a security guard in the Courts Guard, where he was placed in the Family Court in Ramat Gan. During this period he also met his girlfriend, Shira. Samson told Barak that he had received Barak’s work in the early stages of sorting out the guard, and that his shy smile showed a determination to succeed in everything he would be assigned as a security guard, along with his hard studies. And was an example for even older security guards. After only three months in Mishmar, a shift officer was vacated and the position was offered to Barak as a natural candidate despite his short service. Barak, who was at the top of his studies, decided to take upon himself the task, and did it in the best possible way, as was his custom … He saw his friends in a warm home and a loving family, and that’s how we saw him. “Barak intended to settle down after completing his studies In the middle of November 2001 he enlisted in reserve duty, and after a short training session was sent with his friends to fill a line in the Gaza Strip with responsibility for the Kfar Darom area. From his teammates, Barak joined our unit a few months ago and it was his first reserve duty The battalion. Despite the relatively short time he served in the battalion, Barak found many good sides, both as a person and as a fighter. Barak was a professional soldier, an excellent navigator, punctual, and above all a true friend and brother of arms. “On November 24, 2001, Barak fell in combat in Kfar Darom. On the same Saturday, a meeting was held in the locality of Shabbat Shragun – a meeting of religious youth from Bnei Akiva. On Saturday night Barak went out with two of his fellow reservists to the convention venue, to listen to the songs of the Land of Israel he loved with all his might. At 19:58 two mortar shells were fired at Kfar Darom. One of the bombs fell near Barak and his friends as they made their way to the settlement. Barak was killed by shrapnel that penetrated his neck. He was twenty-six years old. After his death he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Binyamina. Survived by his parents, two sisters and a brother. “From the moment the lightning fell, the worst darkness descended on us,” the family wrote. “Barak, Becky we called you, we miss you very much, your strong embrace, your look, your smile, your voice, your kisses – to you, you always, but always stay with us, in our hearts, in our souls and in our soul. “It was clear to me that the motive stems from the home and the education in it … Barak,” said Barak Itamar, his commander in the reserves: “The basic quality that accompanied him in all his work was also repeated in all the words of the songs of the country he sang – about those special people who do and do and it is not always clear what motivates them. As a man, with the joy of life and the love of man and the love of the land, as a student and as a glorious warrior, he will guard us as an angel. ” Many things to remember Barak and his image were published in various places. His friends made an album to remember and presented it to his family. Sahar wrote: “Barak, I miss the long conversations between us about the most intimate things in life and the discussions about education, family and life in general … Barak, giving warmth, love and happiness to everyone around you. Sagi wrote: “Ever since I can remember, Barak has always been around, always a friend, days pass, years pass, friends come and friends go – we always stay together, it’s a rare thing, something that many other people have not. Now, when you ‘re not here, I feel that some part of my life has been erased, a wonderful time with beautiful memories, something that can not be returned, and more difficult to see or replace. You’ll be missed! ” Wrote Eldad, a friend of Barak from high school: “… every time you opened a door into your happiness world, always the same magic, the same luster, Hebrew songs and guitar sounds, these were yours. , Your smile, your boundless and unlimited love – everything you hold in your hands, especially everyone you huggedThis silence, not so many words without melody; In the Hamishmar booklet, published in the Ramat Gan courts, Barak wrote: “Barak is the first person killed by mortar shells in the Al-Aqsa intifada, and the first one killed by the guard of the courts … We still have a strong, loving embrace that you would embrace. The term ‘salt of the earth’ is aimed at people like you, but where are there other people like you? … You were a friend and brother, you lived your life as lightning full of light and power and walked away from us like thunder on a clear day. “On the evening, And composed to remember his friend Shahar Masuri: “Holds a guitar hand and sings / quiet songs, we will not know, / beautiful songs, penetrating songs, / as you are.” / Humming a familiar chorus, which until now remains / walks in the fields on the mountain / Here, there, / Keeps above all of them. / Boy, so child, / Remains child, / So child, / Selected child. How ‘s a boy? A child of twenty-six. “When you die in the light of the moon, in a silence of eternal silence, you will win all my life in my world, and win your face until I come.”
