Machoreesh, Shlomo
Son of Mansour and Hannah. He was born on April 18, 1938 in Tel Aviv. He grew up in a national-religious home, and in this spirit he absorbed in his home, he guided his apprentices in the club of Hanoar Haoved, where he was very active. He completed his studies at the Tachkemoni elementary school, but because of the difficult family situation, he was forced to seek manual labor and turned to mechanics. After three years of work as an apprentice he completed the course and became a mechanic by profession. He liked books and read them at leisure. Was drafted into the IDF in April 1956. He was the first to volunteer for any dangerous mission, and his commander praised him for his courage and determination, which was much older than his age On the day of 8 Av 5716 (16.7.1956) he fell during his service and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
