Ma’aton, Yehuda
Son of Hanna and Tzalach was born on April 13, 1961 in Afula. Yehuda was drafted into the IDF in May 1979. After completing his basic training, he was sent to the Armored Corps School where he served as a warehouse guard, a good soldier, disciplined and loyal, devoted and responsible, and every assignment he performed was impeccable. In his relationship with his friends, Yehuda was found to be a true friend, with a sense of justice, very friendly and always willing to help his friends as much as necessary. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion. He left behind his parents, five brothers and five sisters. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “Judah was a disciplined soldier, very orderly and devoted to his work, and he cultivated the warehouse he worked in, and made sure that he was always in the best condition and to the satisfaction of his commanders. And behavior. ” His family commemorated his name in the “Rabbi Meir Baal Haness” synagogue in Nahalat Yehuda Bet.
