Lois, Yitzhak
Son of Esther and Simanto. He was born in Istanbul, Turkey on June 28, 1966. From his childhood, he was known as Isaac, and he immigrated to Israel with his family in 1969. He joined the IDF in November 1984 and served in the IAF as an aircraft builder. During his studies he acquired his profession as a mechanical engineer in the IAF Technical School. In November 1987 he joined the ranks of the permanent army. In 1992, Yitzhak married his girlfriend Valery and they had three children. In 2000, the family moved to Rishon Letzion. On the 23rd of Tevet (18.1.2001) Yitzhak fell in the line of duty during a soccer match held in Rishon Letzion where he collapsed and died. He was thirty-five years old when he died. Yitzhak was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion. Survived by a wife, two daughters and a son, parents and brother.
