Livni, Micha


Son of Shmuel and Aliza. He was born on the 10th of Tevet, 1927 in Afula, until the age of twelve he was in Kfar Hahoresh with his parents, because they were members of the kibbutz. During the War of Independence he was a child, but the siege in which the spot was found affected him and made him stronger. At the age of 12 he moved to Ginossar with his mother and sister, and began his education in Kfar Hahoresh, continued in Ginosar and in Shefayim, and completed high school in Gvat, where he studied in the Ma’abarot until the day of his departure Joined the army in August 1954. Shortly before he was accepted as a member of the kibbutz, he fell with the seven comrades-in-arms in the Gaza Strip on February 28, 1955. He was laid to rest at the cemetery in Ginosar. A booklet bearing his name appeared in his memory. His memory was mentioned in the book “Wars of the Paratroopers” by Uri Milstein.
