Liutchi, Yehuda


Son of Yitzchak and Esther. He was born in 1935 in Bulgaria, and immigrated to Israel in 1943. He studied at a Jewish school in Tel Aviv, and completed his studies there. He was naturally cheerful and humorous. In his leisure time, he loved fishing and sports. He also liked to deal with photography. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in December 1953, and joined the military police. He left for reserve duty on April 12, 1969. On the 25th of Nissan, April 13, 1969, Yehuda fell from a sniper rifle, in the Suez Canal. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
