Litvin, Ze’ev (Sefi)


Son of-Rivka and Elhanan was born in Tel Aviv on the 1 st of September 1919. From his childhood, he was educated for a life of work and defense, and he completed a commercial school, specialized in agriculture and construction work as a scaffold. He was drafted into the Nutris, a cheerful and joyful young man who sang many times and was sent to the police during World War II and joined the Jewish Brigade at the time of its establishment. After talks with his father, who explained to him the importance of the role of the Jewish policeman in those days, When he was released from the police, he began to work in construction and decided to set his own path in life, and after much deliberation he was accepted as a member of the cooperative moshav of Bnei Dror in the Tel Mond bloc of moshavim. In the early days of the War of Independence, he served in the Alexandroni Brigade, took part in patrols and activities in the area, and fell on the 4th of Iyar 5708 (13.5.1948) during the conquest of Tira. He was laid to rest at the cemetery in Tel Mond.
