Lior (Lichtenstein), Shmuel

Son of Yosef and Jordana. He was born on 21 October 1932 in Menahemia. He completed his studies at the elementary school there, and later studied at the “Amal” vocational school in Tiberias. Made an effort to progress in his studies despite the conditions of time and place. Was not satisfied with basic education, tended to technical studies, and his parents supported him in achieving this goal. He has never been afraid of obstacles. He was drafted into the IDF in March 1950 and became a model pilot, and during his service he continued to study privately and passed his matriculation exams. – The military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
