Ligelem, Haim

Son of Yelgenesh and David. He was born on May 27, 1986 in Ofakim. Brother to Yigal, Batya and Esther. Haim attended the “Yavne” Elementary School in Petach Tikvah, continued to the “Bnei Akiva Beit Shmuel” Yeshiva in Hadera and completed his studies at the nearby Shfeya Comprehensive School in Zichron Yaakov. Chaim was a joyous child surrounded by friends, a warm, loving man. His main hobby was football, and he played with friends regularly. He was the mainstay of the family, and for them the source of joy and light. Haim joined the IDF in the middle of December 2004 and served in the General Staff of the Ephraim Regional Brigade, and served as a security guard at the mall and helped support the family On 30 Tammuz 5767 (June 30, 2007) He was brought to eternal rest in the Segula military cemetery in Petach Tikvah, leaving his parents, brother and two sisters, and the separation letters written after his fall express the great pain over the loss of a beloved son and a dear friend. 30.6.2007, a date that will be etched in my memory for the rest of my life because nothing will be the same anymore. On this date God decided to take you out of this world and be by his side in heaven with the other angels. You’re probably looking down on us, looking after us like you were here. You left your mother, your family and all your friends with your memory engraved in us. We know that there you will not be alone, dear brother. We will not forget you and your smile that always pleased us and conquered us. A handsome young man with a joy of life wherever the light was present. A sociable guy who loved everyone and everyone loved him. Only yesterday you were in kindergarten, and today a soldier who proudly serves his country. You were and will always be our little brother, the one we had to watch and care for. To remember your smile is like looking straight into the sun, a dazzling smile that will always remain. Life, you angel and angel will remain in the hearts of all those who love you. You will continue to be part of our lives even after your death. “Major Maher Ghanem wrote:” Chaim, you were born, your parents gave you a special name – Haim. A different name, an uncommon name, a name that says to live the time, exhaust it, but your time was short, very short. Today I write a letter of eulogy instead of a letter of congratulation about your release from the army in about four months, is not it terrible, your life was interesting and fascinating, rich in friends and acquaintances, you did everything and quickly, as if you knew you had to make use of every minute. We were talking about the driver’s license you want to do, the family you love so much, and the military service you insisted on finishing in four months with confidence and daring. , I want to thank you for the time we were together, for being just you, that cute, smiling, quiet child who gives Everything for a friend and accomplishing everything you need, doing everything so thoroughly and not enough until everything is to your satisfaction.I’ve sure I learned a lot from you: how to be a quiet, smiling, industrious, How good it was and what a friend, but you really were like that and what you gave us no one can take away from us You left us to keep your family and we promise to try to be strong for you Chaim, always stay with us,
