Son of Moshe. Born in 1917 in Egypt, where he received his education and education. In 1934 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and joined the Betar youth movement, where he found friends with whom he shared his feelings and dreams. In 1937 he set out to serve in the “Recruiting Company” in Akron and Herzliya, where he worked in the army and at night he went to guard duty, and soon became accustomed to social life and became loved by his friends for his willingness to go to any hard work and to help others. In 1938, he was transferred to the Rosh Pina company, where he worked with his comrades in their jobs and also served in guard duty, and when Arab rioters sabotaged the orchards or sent fire in the fields, Israel was among those who would save them and save the fields. On 8 Sivan (7.6.1938) an attack was carried out on Rosh Pina, accompanied by a large arson attack in the fields. As usual, Israel took his place, began to deal with firefighting and in the process he was hit by a bullet that put an end to his life. The next morning his friends found his body, still holding the wet sack. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery of Rosh Pina. He left a father and a sister. His memory was commemorated in “Sefer Betar” and in “Memories of Netzach,” a book of remembrance for the heroes of the Irgun Zvai Leumi. The newspapers Davar, Haaretz and Haboker published lists about his character and way of life.
