Lieberman, Elimelech

Son of Yaakov and Rachel. He was born on the 6th of Adar I, February 16, 1948, in Milan, Italy. He was six months old when his family immigrated to Israel. He completed elementary school, and was later accepted to the Naval Officers School in Acco. He then worked in Israeli cargo ships. He was drafted in the IDF in November 1965. A few months later, in the course of his duties, he fell on the 15th of Adar, March 7, 1966. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. His memory was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book, “The Paratroop Wars.”
