Liebergel, Ernest
He was born on August 3, 1914 in Klagenfurt, Austria, a small Jewish community that grew up in elementary school and began to work in clerical work until the Nazi takeover of Austria. Ernst immigrated to Israel in 1938 and began his life as a laborer in the orchard, then worked as a waiter and eventually became a partner in a coffee shop in Haifa, where Ernst was a veteran member of the Hagana. When he was on guard, he was shot by an Arab sniper and killed on the 29th of Iyar 5708 (June 7, 1948) a few hours before the truce began, and was buried in Na’an on the 2nd of Sivan 5705 (18.5.1950) Sea in Haifa Military Cemetery.
