Licht, Mordechai (Mottek)

Mordechai Licht, son of Esther and Zvi, was born in 1907 in Plock, Poland. In 1925 he immigrated to Israel. On his way to work with three of his friends on 6 Tamuz, 5.7.1938, in Pardes Yachin near the moshav, they were attacked by Arab gangs, and Mordechai was killed on the spot. He was laid to rest with his three friends in a mass grave in the mass cemetery in Tel Mond, and left a wife and two sons.
