Boaz loved sports, he was interested in music and dance. As a son of a large family, he was a friend and friend of his older brothers and sisters. As his brother, Doron, was a devoted son of his parents, he loved and admired them. After completing his studies, he asked to be drafted into the IDF and joined his older friends, who had enlisted in the army, and urged his parents to allow him to enlist earlier than usual. After basic training he was sent to the Armored Corps School and filled various positions. At first he worked in the carpentry shop, building the unit’s club, and later was transferred to the quartermaster company. He was not pleased with his new job and asked to move to another company, but his request was not given to him. In the unit, Boaz was known as a cheerful and Simcha soldier but withdrawn. He made sure to maintain contact with his family and took advantage of every vacation to visit the house.
