Levkowitz, Yehuda (“Dedi”)

Son of Shmuel and Herta. He was born on January 3, 1928 in Berlin, the capital of Germany. He was seven years old when his family immigrated to Israel. He completed his studies at the Balfour High School in Ramat Gan. He found his fight in tailoring, but at leisure he paid attention to art and literature, ballet dancing and reciting. He was drafted into the IDF in March 1948 and served during the War of Independence on November 19, 1956. He fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
