Levinger, Yitzhak


Son of Aaron and Leah. He was born in the town of Toplice, Romania, on February 23, 1923. He completed his studies in an elementary school, served in a labor camp under German rule and immigrated to Israel in 1946. He served in the IDF and served as a sergeant during the War of Independence . Was wounded in the course of his duty and died of his wounds the following day, on Rosh CHodesh Sivan, the 17th of May 1950. He was laid to rest at the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery.
