Levin, David


David, son of Chesa and Yehoshua Levin, was born in 1917 in Moscow, Russia. In 1934 he immigrated to Eretz Israel with his parents and settled in the Bayit Vagan neighborhood in western Jerusalem where he began working in the weaving factory that his father founded and later became a technical director. David was killed in the explosion of ammunition on the 19th of Tammuz 5708 (July 26, 1948). He was brought to rest in the cemetery in Sanhedria in Jerusalem.
