Levi, Zvi-Asher (“Zvika”)


Son of Moshe and Rachel. He was born on September 21, 1939 in Jerusalem. He studied at the Tachkemoni elementary school in Daughter of-Yam, where his father serves as the city’s rabbi, and at the Torah and Malach yeshiva in Kfar Avraham. He belonged to the “Bnei Akiva” movement and was a member of the “Elitzur” sports association. He studied at the Air Force Technical School. He was drafted into the IDF in May 1957. He was wounded while carrying out his duties, and two days later, on September 6, 1959, died of his injuries in the hospital. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
