Ben-Batsheva and Yosef. He was born on February 4, 1970 in Tel Aviv. He studied at the Bavli Elementary School in Tel Aviv. Afterward, he completed his studies in the municipal high school D in the real world. He was drafted into the IDF in mid-August 1988 and volunteered for the naval commando unit, after completing basic training, a course for commanders of various classes and training in sea and land, under physical and mental stress. ) Ziv fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents, three sisters and a brother. He was promoted to First Sergeant after his death. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “During the course, Ziv was discovered as a central social figure, and he had a sense of humor, with a serious character and a high performance figure, which he showed while giving up personal comfort and determination to carry out all the training and tasks required of him.”
