Levi, Yaron
Son of Shalom and Devorah. He was born in Holon on June 21, 1958. He completed his sixth year of high school at the “HaKfar HaYarok” agricultural high school, and until his army service, for about a year and a half, ) As a computer operator. The employers’ assessment was that “the above is outstanding in his work and he is a dedicated and loyal worker. Yes, he passed the computer courses ‘Burroughs’ and completed them cum laude. During his work, Yaron completed two courses – Introduction to computers and computer operation. Yaron was drafted into the IDF in mid-May 1976 and assigned to the Armored Corps. He began his military career as a tank driver and later served as a SHAKAM employee throughout his service except for a short period of time in which he was appointed general-employee. His commanders’ assessment was that “a good and devoted soldier, with great ambition and resourcefulness, was interested in wide-ranging issues, and was acceptable to his commanders and friends.” On December 20, 1977, Yaron was injured in an accident in the Nahal Netzarim area and fell during his service. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Holon. Survived by his parents and two sisters.
