Levi, Yaakov (“Yankele”)
Son of Yitzhak and Bilha. He was born in February 1933 in Tiberias and studied at the “Talmud Torah” school from an early age, taking care of his family’s economy, dressing and educating them, and at the age of 12 he did not continue his studies and burdened his young shoulders with a heavy burden Than he could bear, because he had a Lev of gold and the situation of the family worried him so much, but he never gave up and all his energy and spare time – he devoted all his Lev – was devoted to them.was twenty-six years old He had a wife and together they built their warm and welcoming home. He was a member of Egged. He loved sports and horticulture. From time to time he was called up for reserve duty, and this was the case even before the Six-Day War, during which he took part in loyalty and devoted dedication in the performance of his duties in Rosh Pina on the second day of the fighting. He left a wife and three children. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. Jacob’s name was immortalized in the booklet “The Sons of Tiberias in Action” and in a booklet issued by Egged in memory of his fallen comrades
