Levi, Shmuel (Shmulik)

Shmuel, son of Esther and Joseph Levi, was born on August 24, 1965 in Safed. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement and was trained in his youth as part of the Gadna. He was drafted to the IDF in September 1983. After a period of basic training and professional training, he was assigned to a brigade headquarters and later served in the Northern Command. On the 18th of Av 5787 (13.8.1987) Shmuel fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Safed. Survived by parents and two sisters – Shoshana and Mazal.
