Son of Michal (Monver) and Jacob. He was born in 1914. His father was chairman of the Persian Community Committee in Jerusalem. During the Second World War, he enlisted in the British Army and was assigned to the Palestine Regiment. On 26 Iyar, May 19, 1944, when he bathed in the Bat Yam beach together with a group of soldiers, he drowned at sea. He was brought to rest in the Mount of Olives cemetery.
