Levi, Shabtai
The only son of Moses and Vince. He was born on March 19, 1950, in Hadera and studied at the Mesilot Elementary School in Netanya. He had always stood out in his willingness to take every role and task that his teachers had entrusted him with and to fill them with precision, honesty, and faith. More than any theoretical subject, he liked the art classes, because he had a good sense of humor. Shabtai was a devoted son, a loyal brother and a true friend. He willingly offered help to everyone. He was modest, somewhat shy, but all his acquaintances and friends loved him for his kindness and honesty and admired him for his devotion. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in mid-February 1969, and there was no limit to his joy when he received the order to report to the enlistment office and told his mother: “Mom, I want to be a good soldier and I want you to be proud of me. You will be proud of having such a son. “He was stationed and served in the Israel Air Force and excelled as a soldier dedicated to his job, who fulfilled everything that was imposed on him with precision and dedication, and he was always ready to be called back to the base. On may 7, 1970, he fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya.
