Levi, Salomon (Sammy)


Son of Eli and Alice-Nadia. He was born in Morocco on December 22, 1952. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1964. He did his elementary studies in Morocco. Shlomo’s parents divorced when Sammy was two years old, and his stepmother, Nadia, raised him all his life, as if he were his son, Sammy, for his part. He was devoted to her and his father, and was connected to his family in a warm and loving relationship, and Sami was drafted into the IDF in mid-August 1971 and assigned to the infantry. After completing basic training, he completed his military service as a petrol mechanic, followed by an infantryman, and in March 1973 he was appointed heavy duty driver. On July 2, 1974, Salomon was injured in an accident in the Golan Heights and fell in the course of his duties, and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Rishon Letzion.
