Levi, Pesach Chaim (“Shechori”)


Son of Aliza and Chaim. He was born on 30.3.1923 in Sofia, Bulgaria, to a well-known Zionist family in the city. He studied at a local gymnasium and at a young age joined the Betar youth movement, where he showed great dedication and leadership as a guide, but in 1941 he emigrated to Eretz Israel on the illegal immigrant ship Dorian. He was interned in the detention camp at Atlit and stayed there for about a year and a half, and immediately joined the Lehi organization and participated in various combat activities. On June 3, 1943, Levi was killed in tragic circumstances. He was laid to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery in Tel Aviv. Laid parents and brother.
