Levi, Omri

Omri, son of Efrat and Noam Levi, was born on February 18, 1996, in Moshav Sdei Chemed, near Kfar Saba. When Omri was sixteen, his father died. On October 16, 2014, Omri enlisted in the IDF, serving as a combat soldier in the Golani Brigade, and during the service he advanced to the rank of corporal. Omri fell in a terrorist attack in Be’er Sheva on October 18, 2015. He was nineteen years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Sdei Hemed. He is survived by his mother, sister and brother. After his fall, Omri was promoted to sergeant. On the tombstone, the family wrote: “In our world you have left a mark and touched us all”.
