Levi, Oded

Son of-Hanna and Nissim-Yaish was born on June 18, 1932 in Zichron Ya’akov. After completing elementary school, he began to work in the office of the secretary of the local council. Despite his youth and his comfortable place of work, he decided to enlist and he is only 15 years old. Tried to persuade the director of his office to add three years to his documents about his age. Hela refused, but Oded found a way to enlist without him. Oded served in the Alexandroni Brigade and participated in the battles of Zar’in and Kfar Qara. On his way home on a short vacation on the 9th of Nissan 5708 (May 9, 1948), he was seriously injured in a road accident near Zichron Yaakov and died of his wounds.
