Levi, Moshe (Mickey)


Son of Daniel and Miriam. He was born on 26.9.1959 in Nof Yam, Herzliya. He did his elementary studies at the elementary school in Neve Yam and completed his high school studies at the Herzliya Municipal High School with a realistic track. Mickey excelled in his studies and was an alert and original student. Although he was known as an introverted and talented youth, he led a very active lifestyle, practiced sports and listened to classical music and worked in various jobs. Moro in high school noted that Mickey had a high level of intellect and had ever expressed philosophical ideas stemming from deep and original thinking. He would read many books of psychology and music and would write his notes and thoughts on the notes that were found among his papers. Mickey was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in February 1978. He was placed in the Signal Corps and sent to the IAF training base, where he was supposed to begin the wireless course, and fell in his duties on March 27, 1978. He was brought to rest in Beit- The military cemetery in Herzliya left behind his parents and two sisters: “His colleagues saw Moshe as one of their best friends.”
