Son of Zehava and Albert, was born on August 10, 1963. He spent his childhood in his city, where he studied and completed the Sprinzak Elementary School, where he studied for one year at the Boyar School in Jerusalem , And completed his studies at the IAF Technical School, where he taught for two years at the Magdiel youth center and played basketball at both Magdiel and the school team.In 1980 Mordechai traveled with his mother and brother Shabtai to the United States, where he graduated with honors After a while, Mordecai was sent to the Netherlands by the Union of Jewish Students, and when he returned to the United States, he decided to return to Israel and fulfill his duty to himself, Order – and enlist. Not helped pleading his teachers and friends, he saw the place in Israel. Mordecai returned to Israel. His mother and brother remained in the United States, and he lived with his grandmother. Mordechai drafted into the IDF in late January 1983 and because its data is sent for pilot training. When it became clear to him that he was intended to be a helicopter pilot, not a fighter pilot as he had requested, Mordechai retired from the army and volunteered for combat engineering. He was accepted to the Plasim course, and did everything he had to do to the satisfaction of his commanders. On November 3, 1983, two weeks before the end of the course, Mordecai fell in the line of duty in the Peace for Galilee War and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Magdiel. After they fell, he was promoted to corporal. In a letter of condolence to the family, his commander said that “Moti fulfilled his duties with devotion and loyalty and was very much loved by all of us”
