Levi (Lupu), Ze’ev

Son of Malka, nee Fisher and Ben-Zion (Niko) was born on February 13, 1924 in Roman, Moldova. In 1947, he immigrated to Israel with his wife, was hired by Yachin and settled in Magdiel, where his daughter was born. He fought for his job and excelled in the service of the homeland, as a soldier in the Alexandroni Brigade, during which he was injured in the neck, spent three weeks on vacation, and before his full recovery, he returned to service. Two days after his return, on the 6th of Av 5708 (August 11, 1948), he took part in an operation against the enemy Section Magdiel Bir Adasa, was shot in the head and fell. He was laid to rest at the cemetery in Magdiel.
