Levi, Levi


Levi, son of Yonah and Shlomo, was born on the 5th of Tevet, 14.1.1950, in Rosh HaAyin. Levi was drafted into the IDF in early February 1969 and was placed in the Golani Brigade. After completing his basic training, he completed his training course for a half-track driver at the Armored Corps School, and during his service he was a model soldier and an excellent driver. After his discharge, Levy returned to work in the diamond polishing plant and was loved there because he respected every person as a person, always striving to find the right path and be good in the eyes of God and man. When the Yom Kippur War broke out, Levy was called to his unit and sent to Sinai, where he took part in the battles On October 12, 1973, when he brought ammunition in his truck to the area of ​Ismailia, the car was hit by an enemy shell and Levy was killed. He was laid to rest at the cemetery on Mount Herzl, leaving behind a wife and daughter, parents, three brothers and a sister,
