Son of Batya and Pinchas, was born on May 1, 1931 in Aleppo, Syria. He attended elementary school and in 1943 immigrated to Israel and worked as a laborer. He joined the Betar movement, was active in its ranks and was always ready for daring missions. On Wednesday, 11.6.1948, when the enemy attacked a Jew, he fell in an attempt to rescue a wounded friend and was brought to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
