Levi, Gershon (“Gary”)

Gershon, son of Yosef and Leah Levi,was born in 1935, in the Ohel Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem, where his parents were born. He was drafted into the IDF in February 1953. He was in an officers’ course and only managed to pass five months there until on the 13th of Adar 5714 (18.3.1954) he fell while fulfilling his duties and was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
