Levi, Ezra
Son of David and Rosa. He was born in 1934 in Hankin, Iraq, and immigrated to Israel in 1950. He worked as a laborer in “Yachin” near Petah Tikva, and was drafted into the IDF in April 1956 and after his discharge from the army he went on reserve duty from time to time. Ezra was called again for reserve duty – this time in 1968 for police policing on Independence Day and on 4 May 1968 (the policemen went to various positions on the parade route and with a discharge of duty they were released from this service). But upon his release Ezra went home and on the way he died. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
