Levi, Esther
Daughter of Saturn and joy. She was born on the 11th of Adar 5707 (February 23, 1956) in Jerusalem. She studied at Maimon Elementary School in Kiryat Moshe and continued three years of study in an Oriental girls’ home in Jerusalem, with the aim of sewing studies. Until her enlistment Esther worked as a seamstress in a factory in Givat Shaul. Esther was the daughter of a large family and helped her family as best she could. Esther was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of April 1974. After basic training in infantry, she was assigned to the headquarters of the Sharon district as a clerk, and Esther was devoted to her work and bought the hearts of her commanders and friends to serve her gaily and the joy of life that flowed from her. She was brought to rest at the Mount Herzl cemetery in Jerusalem, leaving behind her parents and eight brothers and sisters, and after her death she was awarded the rank of corporal.
