Levi, Eliyahu


Son of Esther and Abraham. Born on July 22, 1966 in Kadima to a large family, he studied at Maalot Elementary School in Bnei Brak and completed his studies at the Tel Aviv Municipal High School in the city of Tel Aviv. He loved music and built himself a large collection of records and decorated his room with pictures of bands he loved, and he was wise and talented in manual labor and helped his neighbors repair electricity failures without any compensation. In early November 1984 he was drafted into the IDF and assigned to the Armored Corps. Two years later, he was transferred to the headquarters of the Chief Medical Officer, and on April 19, 1987, he fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents, three sisters and four brothers. In a letter of condolence to the family, his commander wrote: “Eli arrived at our unit about six months ago, and immediately created a good atmosphere and a warm relationship with his commanders and colleagues in the unit. For his commanders and friends, excelled in his kindness, performed every task with good spirit and with maximum efficiency. ” His parents donated a Torah scroll to the “Me’eyeye Torah” yeshiva in Pardes Katz, where he used to pray
