Levi, Dudu

Son of Sarah-Esther and Ze’ev. Dudu was born in Israel on November 25, 1949. He joined the IDF on February 14, 1968. After completing compulsory service, he continued to serve in the reserves as an officer in the Engineering Corps, and even when he was dismissed from service due to his age he volunteered to continue serving. Dudu lives in Rishon Letzion with his wife Edna and their two children – Shalhevet and Neri. Dudu fell during his duty on 13 Av, August 11, 2003, about a month after he began his reserve service in the Bethlehem area. He was fifty-four years old. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion. Survived by a wife and two children.
