Levi, David
Ben Simcha and Nissan was born in Tirat Hacarmel on February 15, 1953. David was drafted into the IDF in October 1971 and was assigned to the Intelligence Corps. At first, he served in Sinai and immediately fell in love with the magical landscape and the nomadic Bedouins. David spent his spare time playing guitar and composing songs. During his service, David received the operational service certificate, took a parachuting course and participated in the Yom Kippur War. David was discharged from the army in 1974 and began to work as a clerk in the bank, continuing with his hobbies: photography and music, and at the end of 1978 he enlisted in the permanent army, and David was killed in the performance of his duties on December 30, 1979, Military in Haifa. He was 26 years old when he fell. He left behind his parents, two brothers and a sister.
